Project Phoenix exists because someone needed it to. It's still becoming what it's meant to be — as are the people who are a part of it. You're here while it's still being forged.

You are now part of Phoenix Pro. For life. Not a trial, not a beta perk, lifetime. As long as Phoenix exists, your access doesn't expire. The next eight weeks are yours to put it through its paces and tell us what you find.

It's being shaped in real time. If something feels wrong or needs rethinking, that's why you're here.

Three things from you:

— Train. Use the app the way you'd actually use it. Don't be careful with it.

— Tell us when it breaks. Bugs, confusion, anything off. No detail too small.

— Tell us what's missing. If a feature should exist and doesn't, say so.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in physical exercise and training activities involves inherent risks of injury. These risks include, but are not limited to, muscle strains, joint injuries, cardiovascular events, and other physical harm. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Medical Clearance

I confirm that I have consulted with, or have chosen not to consult with, a qualified medical professional regarding my ability to participate in this programme. I represent that I am in adequate physical condition to participate in the activities described in this application.

3. Pre-Existing Conditions

I acknowledge that I have disclosed any known pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations within this application. I understand that Project Phoenix and its creators are not liable for any injury or health event arising from undisclosed conditions.

4. Exercise Intensity

I understand that this programme contains high-intensity exercise including heavy resistance training, cardiovascular conditioning, and Olympic weightlifting movements. I will exercise my own judgement and cease activity if I experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or unusual symptoms. I will seek medical attention immediately if required.

5. Professional Coaching

I understand and acknowledge the app's recommendation to seek qualified coaching for complex movements including barbell squats, deadlifts, Olympic lifts, and gymnastics movements. I accept full responsibility for my technique and loading decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release, waive, and discharge Project Phoenix, its creators, developers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liability arising from my participation in this programme.

7. Voluntary Participation

I confirm that my participation is entirely voluntary. I understand I may stop at any time. I have read and understood this agreement and agree to be bound by its terms.

8. Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. By accepting, I confirm I am of legal age to enter into this agreement in my jurisdiction.

The Agoge
The hardest thing Phoenix asks of you.

The Agoge is a two-part challenge.

The March — walk or run 246 km. The distance from Athens to Sparta. The route the Spartans marched before their greatest battles. You accumulate every kilometre from your daily walks and WOD runs.

The Block — complete your full coach-prescribed training block without breaking the chain.

Both together. That's The Agoge.

It has no fixed timeline. Your coach prescribes your weekly march distance alongside your training. You finish when you finish.

When you complete The Agoge, you earn the Λ — the Spartan lambda. It appears on your profile. It never goes away.

This is optional. It is not for everyone. But if you're here, you're probably considering it.
